Join us for the graduation of the third cohort of the Community Violence Intervention Leadership Academy (CVILA), where we will recognize 31 leaders from 23 cities across the country. In addition to promoting safety and healing in their respective communities, over the past five months, these students have committed to strengthening and elevating their leadership through a rigorous professional development program at the University of Chicago.

About the CVILA: The CVILA is a first-of-its-kind education program designed to deepen the leadership and management practices of senior CVI leaders so they can effectively manage community-based organizations and implement CVI strategies at scale. The CVILA provides senior CVI leaders with five months of hands-on education and is being rigorously evaluated to ensure it achieves its two interconnected goals: reducing gun violence and scaling the CVI field.
