Our community came together for a powerful and moving bicycle ride through the streets of Kankakee. We rode as one, united in our stand against gun violence. Thank you to everyone who participated and supported this event. Kankakee United partnered with the Kankakee School District for the annual Youth Palooza, and the event was a resounding success! A huge thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, and supported this fantastic event. Dozens of teenage gamers came out to Kankakee High School for the event. The youngsters received a message about violence prevention from our partners. We want to thank our partners for collaborating on this event. Kankakee School District 111, Illinois Coalition of Community Services, Harbor House, Kankakee United, Kankakee Forgives, KCSA Justice Academy! "Switch it up Gaming" did a phenomenal job facilitating the event.
